Ski resort “Bukovel” is located at an altitude of a thousand meters above sea level, at the foot of the eponymous mountain Bukovel, in a small village Polyanytsya (Ivano-Frankivsk region).
The resort is located 30 km from Yaremche and 110 km from Ivano-Frankivsk. 10 km from it there is Yablunytskyi Pass – the border between Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions.
Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Ukraine, part of which belongs to the state of Ukraine.
The highest point of the resort – Mount Dovga – 1372 m. The winter season can last from November to April.
The nearest railway stop (former station) is in Tatariv village (about 15 kilometers).
The resort is a town where there are all the conditions for sports, business, recreation, health not only in winter but all year round.
