Aviary farmstead

The aviary farmstead is one of the most interesting objects for ecological tourism in the Carpathian National Nature Park.
Called Yaremche Zoo it is an aviary farmstead of the Carpathian National Nature Park established in 1992. The total area is 5.3 hectares.
The aviary farmstead is not a zoo: you see the difference between the first and the second as soon as you come here. Here the animals are kept in semi-free conditions: spacious enclosures or simply large areas fenced with metal mesh, where deer, roe deer, wild boar and other species of animals that can only be found in the Carpathian Forest, feel comfortable.
The zoo is easy to get to. There are signs from the center of Yaremche. Also as a landmark will be the restaurant “Bear Mountain”, which is located nearby.
The aviary farmstead and zoo now is a well-groomed and equipped place with a convenient parking lot.
Why do these places have two names? Because the complex consists of two zones – a zoo with cages for birds, and a direct open aviary.
Attached to each enclosure is a sign in Ukrainian and English, from which every visitor can get information about the animals.
